As reported in the media, “a newly published paper by UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) shows that education is critical to escape chronic poverty and prevent the transmission of poverty between generations.” Education is a crucial tool for pulling people out of poverty; it is a fundamental reality. At Hands 4 Zero Poverty (H4ZP), we strive to promote education full throttle. Education is one of our core values in fighting poverty. Throughout our journey, we have learned; however, we cannot do this alone. We need support to keep us moving forward. Support can be in any shape or form. It can be, for example, volunteering, providing donations, promoting our cause, providing recommendations, etc. The ultimate collective goal is to provide education to someone who can take advantage of it and live a better life outside the confines of poverty.
