From contributions from our donors, H4ZP has been to distribute food to communities in extreme poverty. These communities have families who live with less than a dollar per day. Why we create campaigns to provide food? According to the World Bank, India is one of the highest ranking countries in the world for the number of children suffering from malnutrition. The 2015 Global Hunger Index (GHI) Report ranked India 20th amongst leading countries with a serious hunger situation. Malnutrition deprive children from a normal development.
With the funds from contributors we were able to supply: 105 kilos of rice, 70 Kilos of lentils, 175 Kilos of flour, 100 ml cooking oil and 150 chocolate bars.
Donations helped to support 50 families for approximately three weeks. H4ZP plans to continue the food banks however, we need your help. Without donations we are not allowed to such basic need.
