Climate changes have been felt all over the world. Unusual hot and cold weather conditions have impacted many communities around the world. India has been one of the countries deeply impacted by the world climate changes. Unsual summer heats and winter chills have reached record highs and lows across the coutry. Many communities are not prepared to face these new challenges.

According to Mercy Crop while everyone around the world feels the effects of climate change, the most vulnerable are people living in the world’s poorest countries. Increasingly unpredictable weather patterns, shifting seasons, and natural disasters disproportionately threaten these populations, increasing their risk and their dependency on humanitarian aid.

At Hands 4 Zero Poverty (H4ZP) we treat the subject of climate change very seriously. The H4ZP team has incorporated climate change awareness into the education projects in the slums of India. It is important for communities across the world to contribute to the stop of climate change.

The blanket distribution below was planned by the H4ZP team in anticipation of an upcoming unsual record low temperature in the Delhi Metropolitan area. Thanks to the support of donors, the H4ZP team was able to provide assistance to many communities prior to the severe weather shift.
